Psilocybin treatment is not therapy. It is self-directed. Although success is often received with just one treatment, your intent and desire to change are of paramount importance. A willingness to begin working on that change before the experience and to continue after are key to your continued success. Safety and comfort are also important. We want you to work with a facilitator you trust in a safe place. As facilitators we will work with you to build trust.

1) Consultation

We assess your viability for psilocybin treatment, understand your risks, discuss cost, and answer your questions. This free consult typically lasts one hour.

2) Intake and Preparation

Preparation for the administration. This may be one or multiple sessions to prepare you for the experience. We will not rush you through it, as we believe a good preparation is important to success. A packet of required state forms are completed and reviewed. We will work together further on set (your intent), really understanding the change your want and how you believe your life will be different. Although psilocybin effects the brain and can result in brain areas talking together, it’s really you who makes the change as your direct it with your intent, your willingness to relax and change, and your desire for a different life.

We will also talk about setting (the physical place) including what you want to bring, music, a furry animal, favorite blanket, privacy, anything you want in the tea besides mushrooms, etc.). You will choose the room for your experience. We will make a decision together on the dosage that will give you the best experience.

3) Administration

This is the actual consuming of the mushroom containing psilocybin. It takes around 20 minutes for the effect to begin. We recommend you get comfortable (sitting or lying down, close your eyes to eliminate distractions and use this time to go within).

You will be accompanied by your chosen facilitator and will be in a private space. The length of time is typically 2 to 6 hours until it is safe for you to return home.

4) Integration

We offer you one or two sessions following the administration to review what happened and to understand and incorporate it into your life. You may choose to do that with us or with your established therapist. This is as important as the experience. You may have issues from the past or even past generations come up that you need to understand and possibly work on. Or it may just be experiencing on a daily basis that you have changed and your life is different. Understanding of family and friends can be helpful, also continuing any professional help you were receiving.
